The Daily Electricity Demand Forecast — a separate service offered to clients of PIRA’s Retainers — is designed for Eastern and Western U.S. electricity market participants and is sent to subscribers by e-mail every morning (including weekends) before 7:30 a.m. EST. Seven-day projections of peak hour, on-peak, off-peak and average daily electricity demand for over 20 power market regions in North America are included in each report. Demand departures from seasonal norms are also provided. All load equations are estimated using an improved methodology that captures the nonlinearity of temperature/load response.
